Thomas J. Hally

In Quincy, formally of South Boston passed away, surrounded by family on Monday, December 20, 2021 at age 51. He had suffered through a long 13 year battle of pulmonary sarcoidosis nonetheless withholding his charismatic, dependable, and humorous personality. Raised in South Boston, graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School, and worked for Sheet Metal Union Local 17 for 30 years. The beloved husband of Tara (LaMonica) Hally. Devoted father of Madison, Maeve and Andrew. Loving son of Joseph and Joan (Cannizzaro) Hally of South Boston. Son-in-law of Catherine LaMonica of South Boston and the late Paul LaMonica Jr. Brother of Jennifer Neff and her husband Joseph of Braintree, Joseph Hally of South Boston, Amanda Neff and her husband Christopher of Dorchester. Brother-in-law of Traci LaMonica and Michael O'Connor(BFD), Daryle LaMonica and his wife Donna, Tina Roche and her husband Christopher, the late Kevin Cellucci all of Dorchester, Devin LaMonica of South Boston; and is also survived by aunts Joyce Lindenfelzer and Jean Holmes, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester Street South Boston on Monday December 27th from 3-8pm. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church 641 East Fourth Street South Boston on Tuesday December 28th at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery Dorchester.
