Amelia McCready Obituary

Amelia Delores (Homberg) McCready, 93, of Bozeman, Montana passed away September 20, 2025 of natural causes.

Delores was previously from Annapolis, Maryland where she worked and retired from C&P Telephone Company, which is now Verizon, before moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2000.

After high school, Delores attended Fleet Business School which she completed with an Associate's Degree.

She loved crocheting, knitting, and camping. She always looked forward to spending time with her sisters-in-law on Fridays doing crafts.

She is survived by her husband, James Willis McCready, Sr. of Bozeman, MT; daughter, Roxanne McCready (David Chubb) of Belgrade, MT; granddaughter, Kari Villarruel (Paul), great-grandson, James Bounds, and her great granddaughter, Adriana Bounds, all of California; sister in-law, Evelyn Bacon of Annapolis, MD; sister in-law, Ethel Mae Sears of Severna Park, MD; brother in-law, William "Robbie" McCready (Nancy) of Millersville, MD, and their families.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Willis McCready, Jr., and her sister, Patricia "Pat" Smith.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
