Rhonda Maria Michels

1950 - 2025

Rhonda passed away in May after a long battle with chronic illness. She fought hard and never gave up to the end. Born in Eugene, Oregon March 4, 1950. She grew up in Oregon, Montana, and Idaho. She worked and traveled, settling in the Flathead Valley for several years where her son was born. In 1981 they moved to Bozeman to attend MSU where she graduated with a degree in Human Development. Rhonda was a very kind, loving, generous person, and cared deeply about social justice. She loved being a mom, sewing, cooking, and baking. She was a life long learner who loved reading, and Yoga. She loved spending days in the mountains and nature of Montana cross country skiing and hiking. She is survived by her beloved son, Ren.
