Betty Koch Obituary

Betty Jean Koch, 75, Bradenton, passed away May 17, 2011. She was born on July 27, 1935 in Louisville, KY to the late Thomas Eugene & Ruby May (Hoagland) Ray. She moved to Bradenton in June of 2007 coming from New Port Richey. Betty Jean was retired from the L&N & CSX Railroad where she worked as a railroad comptometer, and was a member of The Grace Communion International Church in Bradenton. She is survived by her three sons; David (Susan) of Bradenton, John of Chicago, IL, Steven (Maria) of Orchard Lake, MI, two daughters; Elizabeth of Melbourne, FL, Judy (Bill) Tsamis of New Port Richey, FL, sister; Bernadette Ray Meador of Louisville, KY, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A private memorial service will be held at the family residence with Pastor Steve Brown officiating. Please contact the family at [email protected] for service information. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130 in her memory. My deepest sympathy , Betty Jean was my 1st cousin. My mom Thelma Ray Hatmaker was Thomas Ray's sister. I was Bernadette's age. If I find any pictures I will send them.
