Bradenton, Florida - David "Eric"Arfons died peacefully surrounded by family in Bradenton, Florida at the age of 62 on Sunday, January 19th, 2025.
Eric was born on January 18th, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio to Walter "Terry" Arfons and Kathleen Zehner. He married Lisa Carpenter in Bradenton, FL on June 14th, 1985. In 1996, he graduated from the UF Warrington College of Business with an MBA and spent decades in the PEO industry. The couple welcomed into their home 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Aside from family and business, his favorite things in life were golf, travel, and Florida Gator games. Eric will be remembered for his generosity, humor, and tenacity.
Eric's memory will live on through his wife, Lisa; his children, Jenna, Jacob, and Julia; his grandchildren, Scarlett, Gattis, and Theo; his mother, Kathy; and his siblings, Lisa and Brett. He is preceded in death by his father Terry.
A celebration of life will be held at Bayside Community Church at 9505 Moccasin Wallow Road in Parrish, FL on February 15th at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be available followed by a potluck reception at the Arfons Barn.
The family would like to thank Town Square adult day care, Brookdale Pointe West, Tidewell Hospice House, and their respective staff for their support throughout Eric's Early-onset Alzheimer's disease.
