Dear Jan and Family,
I was very saddened to learn of Ed's passing. He was an inspiration to all of us who knew him in the music world. I especially enjoyed his direction of the Manatee Community Band. He made me feel as though I was back in High School again giving the director a hard time. I hope that in the days to come you can look back and remember the fun times, I know that I will. Love to you all, Denise Littler

I was saddened to hear that Ed passed away. Ed was the director of the Manatee Community Band when I joined about 12 years ago. He was an inspiring leader and teacher. For years after he was no longer able to direct the band, he continued to come to the concerts to see how we were doing. He loved his craft and his association with the band. We will all miss him.
