Bradenton, Florida - Haskell Reid McWhirter, II, 52, passed June 25, 2021 at Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, FL. He was a Florida native born in Orlando, FL and lived in Kissimmee, FL. During his childhood he also lived in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. He spent the past 27 years living in Bradenton, FL. Reid graduated from Shawnee Mission High School, Overland Park, KS, Paint and Body School, Dallas, TX, and CDL Driver School, Tampa, FL. He was a CDL long haul driver for various transportation companies. He loved his dogs, traveling, football, movies, and family. He was a quiet, gentle, caring individual. Reid was preceded in death by his father, Haskell Reid McWhirter, Sr.; sisters; Jane Ellis and Janet Stincer; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Carmen R. McWhirter; mother, Helen McWhirter; brothers;
Larry McWhirter (MO), Michael McWhirter (Bradenton), Mark McWhirter (TX); uncles; Wesley Lasitter (FL), Jimmie Lasitter (OH); aunt, Patsy McGee (NV) and their families. He is loved and greatly missed.
