John Greske Obituary

John Greske, 65, of Bradenton died October 1, 2008. He was owner of John's Paint & Body for 25 years and currently owned Talty's Sun Ray Court in Bradenton. He served in the US Army for three years. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, was a Nascar fan and was very kind to animals. John also enjoyed his summer home in Malone, New York. He was a graduate of Calumet High School, Calumet City, IL. His wit, gentle nature and genuine love of life endeared him to all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia and his son, John Paul Greske. He is also survived by brothers, Anthony (Marlen) Greske and William (Margaret) Lawson, Jr. and sisters, Mamie (Andy) Martino and Rebecca (Paul) Duncan and many other loving family members. He was predeceased by his parents William and Louise Lawson, three brothers and three sisters. He will be loved and missed by family and friends for all enduring time. Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2008, 11-1p.m. at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Avenue West with the service to follow at 1:00pm. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Manatee County, 2515 14th Street W. Bradenton FL 34205.

Coke we love ya, and we'll all miss you very much. Sorry I couldn't get there in time to say goodbye. My condolences to Pat and John Paul. We love you all and John will be missed dearly.

Our prayers are with you Pat and John Paul. We know how hard this is for you and wish we could be with you still. Please know that he is at peace now and with the rest of our family. He will always be with you in spirit, just remember the good times. He was a great brother and will truly be missed.
