Bradenton, Florida - Joseph N. Lindner, 68, of Bradenton, FL, passed away June 8, 2022. Joe was born July 29, 1953 in Buffalo, NY. Preceded in death by his parents, Mayme and Big Joe, he is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 41 years, Robin (Chalmers); brothers-in-law; John Jr., and Chris (Sally); sisters-in-law; Mary Jill (Mike) and Julie; nephews; John, III, Sean and Benjamin and Hobo our rescue cat. Joe was a graduate of Williamsville South High School, NY and he attended Morehead State, KY. An avid sports fan, he loved the NY Yankees, Oakland Raiders and Kentucky Wildcats. He was a lover of music, Frank Sinatra and The Allman Brothers Band to name a few. He worked most of his life in sales and advertising in Minneapolis and Sarasota and after retiring to Bradenton, he worked at Publix where he made many wonderful friends. Joe was much loved and will be greatly missed. The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at 1:30PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00PM, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel. Contributions in Joe's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Manatee County FL. Condolences may be made to www.brownandsonsfuneral.com.

I will always remember all the fun we used to have, starting with all the games we used to play while I was growing up, the fun things we used to do with the family in Florida, and all of Joe's great tales of days gone by. Our hearts are broken. We thought the world of Joe and are so grateful for the wonderful times our family got to share with him - our visits to Minneapolis with little ones, tailgating and Chiefs games, Florida in the spring, KU/Kentucky and Chiefs/Raiders rivalries, talking (joe and lane)all sports and history trivia. It´s hard to believe Joe is not here, here - but he will always be here with us in our hearts.

Joe was a wonderful friend. His passion for sports was amazing. I'm so glad I got to call him a friend for as long as I did.
