I still have yet to accept the fact that you're gone... I had talked to you like a week before and was supposed to call you back and got busy and forgot to call you back. I will forever regret not calling you back. You were like a brother to me coming up. You, your mom and sister helped shape and mold me as a child to be the person that I am today and having you in my life was nothing but amazing. The doctors say I can't have children, but if God sees fit to prove them wrong, my son will have your name because the world needs more people like you who show nothing but genuineness. I love you, Kevin and will forever miss that smile that lit up a room. Rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and getting to know to know him when came into manatee memorial for test , always had a smile even when you could see he did not feel good. such a sweet person,we always loved seeing his smiling face. he will be deeply missed. I had a chance to care of Kevin. He was an awesome individual with a big heart. Thanks Kevin for teachin me patience becus I had none. U use to tell me......b patient good things will come. When I heard of yur death my heart saddened......wat a great loss to this world. Not alot of people exemplify such kindness and sincerity. My prayers for yur mom and the rest of the family. I had the honor and privilege of working with Kevin for the past four years. Kevin was a quiet hero and like so many quiet heroes his courage wasn't broadcast on the news or displayed on the front page of a newspaper. The courage to never quit in the face of adversity. The simple courage to believe that tomorrow would be better than today. To smile despite disappointment. Kevin you were a kind and gentle spirit and I shall sorely miss you.
