Bradenton, Florida - Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Margaret B. Hoza passed away peacefully on March 29, 2023. She was 96 years old. Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, she lived most of her life in Bradenton, Florida. Margaret was well-loved by her family, friends and co-workers. She was head dietitian at Manatee Memorial Hospital for 30 years. Margaret was the mother of three living children, and one who was stillborn, infant Hoza. Despite her tireless work ethic Margaret always made time, support and love for her family. She and her husband, George worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their kids. She was proud of her children's accomplishments in life.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 60 years of marriage, George B. Hoza; and by her daughter, Patricia Ann (Hoza) Finch. She is survived by her two children; George Gregory Hoza and Linda Susan (Hoza) Lasker (spouse, James D. Lasker), Ronald R. Finch (spouse, of Patricia Ann Hoza Finch, (deceased); 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
