December 10, 1962 - June 17, 2021
Bradenton, Florida - Mary Knight, 58, of Bradenton FL, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021. Mary was born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1962 to Rose and Dominic Spampanato. She lived a life following God's word and gave selflessly to everything she did and the people she loved. Most of all she loved her large Italian family and pets; her husband, Dave; her four children; Michael, Molly, Mark, and Max; step-children; Adam and Stephanie; her granddaughter, Mayla; her five siblings; Paul, Cathy, Parry, Dominic, and Joe; her parents, Rose and Dominic and several nieces and nephews. In Heaven her soul joins Joe, Paul and her father, Dominic. She had an extremely caring nature, always cracked jokes and was never afraid to share her opinion (which you could always see through her facial expressions). She stayed active and busy through her work and in the community. She had many job titles, mostly a mother, a grandmother, a self-employed computer technician, a real-estate investor, an entrepreneur selling organic cleaners called Mary's Botanicals, an IT professor at USF (whom all her students loved) and a full-time IT manager at Manatee County Government. In the community she was involved with Manatee County Women in Government and volunteered at local churches, Saints Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Services will be 9:30 AM, on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Saint Peters & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
