Richard P. Reeves

Died November 22nd, 2014 at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center due to complications from Leukemia. Rich was 55 years old, born on April 2, 1959 in New Britain, Connecticut. After moving to Florida, he married Mindy (Melinda) Reeves and had 2 beautiful children, Kaitlyn and Jessica Reeves. Rich loved boating of any kind and spent many afternoons on the water. Music was his other passion, having shared his music with almost everyone he knew. Rich held a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from RIT and was a successful high school science teacher. He also worked for Kodak in Rochester for many years. Rich is survived by Mindy, Katie and Jessie. Also by his brother, John and Vicki Serna and family, his cousins Phil, Tony and Dave and a group of loving friends. An informal gathering is being held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 6th, on the beach within the Emerson Point Preserve on Snead Island, where his ashes will be scattered.
