Ronald Martin, 76, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. The viewing services will be held from 10am to 1pm on Monday, March 18, 2019 at National Cremation & Burial Society, 2990 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34239. Ron was born in Waterbury, CT in November 16, 1942. He graduated from Crosby High School. Ron was married to Jane Martin on November 7, 1964. They were married for 55 years. Ron enjoyed golf, pub crawl, pickle ball, and bowling. He was a member of the Moose Club. Ron is survived by his wife Jane, sons John and Robert, and grandchildren Ben, Lauren, Sarah, Caleb, Corey, Rachel, Allison, Elijah, Emma, and Johnny. Ron is preceded in death by his parents Enos and Doris Martin, brother Wayne, sister Barbara, and brother Chuck. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Peridia Men's Golf Association, 4950 Peridia Blvd E, Bradenton, FL 34203. The family of Ron Martin wishes to thank Manatee EMS and Manatee Hospital emergency room staff.

Jane and family,Please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences. Ron was one of the finest men I have had the pleasure to know. I will never forget all the great memories and good times I have had with Ron. He was the kind of person that always brought a smile to your face when you saw him and you always looked forward to seeing him again.Ron and Jane were role model parents to us and we always admired their family commitment and values. Dear Jane and family,
Bill and I send our deepest sympathies on the sudden death of your beloved husband & father, Ron. I still can't believe that news I received @ the bowling alley last Monday afternoon.
Jane, you & Ronnie were the most symbiotic couple I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Ron was one of the "good guys", always greeted me with a big smile & a hug. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He loved playing golf and was a great bowler. He loved being around people and we ALL loved being around him.
Ron will be greatly missed by all in Peridia who knew him and naturally, you, Jane, his wife & family will never forget this very special man. We are all very lucky to have met and befriended Ron Martin.
