Ruth R. Hills

Ruth R. Hills, Age 83 of Claridon Township, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Burton Health Care. She was born February 17, 1927 in Elyria, OH the daughter of Arthur and Leona (Wahl) Radde. Ruth was a graduate of Middlefield High School and lived in Claridon Township since 1956. She married Robert N. Hills November 19, 1950 in Middlefield and was a Bank Teller for Middlefield Banking Co. in Middlefield. Prior to the bank, she worked at Nela Park a few years. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Middlefield, she was very active in church functions and while spending her winters in Florida, attended Manatee Methodist Church in Bradenton, FL. She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially being with her friends and family. She will be missed by her friends and family; her son Alan Hills of Las Vegas, NV and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hills in 1994; and her parents, Arthur and Leona Radde. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 West High St. (Rt. 87), Middlefield, Ohio. Visitation will be held Friday, 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Middlefield Cemetery. Rev. Edward Peterson will officiate.
