Bradenton, Florida - Passed away peacefully in Bradenton, FL. Born in Chicago, raised in Oak Lawn, IL. Came to Bradenton as young wife to Roy Ryska wishing to provide a better life for their three young girls. Resident for over 50 years.
Graduate of Beverly Business College, Chicago. Became an insurance agent, employed by H. Clay Gardenhire. Recognized by National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) for professionalism and contribution to industry. Upon Gardenhire's retirement, she developed own business providing personalized and diverse business services to many of Sarasota's elite. Her success was ensured by unparalleled work ethic, loyalty to others, and genuine desire to help others; she will be greatly missed by many.
Avid cruiser while young, traveling primarily to Caribbean islands. Loved camping in the Smoky Mountains with Roy and kids.
Sandy's love and compassion extended to animals, generous in philanthropic endeavors. Private family ceremony held at later date. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask memorial donations to be considered for the Humane Society of Manatee County.
Preceded in death by husband, Roy; and grandson, Ricky Norton; survived by daughters; Carol Chall of Huntsville AL, Catherine Norton of Bradenton, Dawn Rossi of Vail CO; grandchildren; Aaron and Christopher Chall, Austin and Skylar Rossi; mother, Ethel Esunis; sister, Karen Skeen.
At this time we would like to think our parents are enjoying sunsets together with dad singing her a song. Thank you for touching the lives of those who knew you. We will remember you forever.
