Scott Alexander Obituary

age 22, born on February 8, 1994, was taken from us way too early on Sunday, May 15, 2016. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Scotty graduated from Palmetto High School in 2012 and then graduated from SCF. He was attending USF-St. Pete. Scotty loved working on his trucks, fishing and boating, and hanging out with his friends and family in Terra Ceia. He was a loyal friend and brought happiness to all who knew him. He chose happiness and kept a positive attitude, no matter what situation he was in. We know he is safe with God now, but the void he has left in all who loved him, will never be filled. He is survived by his father, Frank Alexander, his mother, Margaret Cornell, his brother, Zachary Alexander, his step-father, Paul Cornell, his grandmother, Donna Taylor, Aunt Sharon Taylor, Uncle Raymond Taylor, and Aunt Lori Murakami, Uncle Gibby Migliano, Aunt Betty Migliano, Aunt Brenda Johnson, Uncle Terry Johnson, and cousins, Selena Migliano, Michelle Carlson, Mason Jeffers and Brynn, Daniel Jeffers and his dog, Dodger. He is also survived by many extended family relatives and many, many friends. Viewing is from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 18th, at Groover Funeral Home 1400 36th Ave. E., Ellenton. Funeral service is Thursday, May 19th, at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 330 11th Ave. West, Palmetto.

Scott and i were in the same class together for a long time. growing up through middle school and high school and graduating together in the same grade. I didn't know him all that much but he was always popular and happy guy to be around. We shared english with mrs Little and American history and government with good old Coach Walton. There was never a dull moment it seemed in his life since he was always on the go sad to know that PHS lost another tiger. bet hes probably up there wave boarding with Dale Brinker. Sad to know you went soo soon Scott your life definitely had a bright shine,

may your impact on earth be forever felt may you not got unnoticed through history but forever slumber peacefully in the arms of the lord.

Dear Margie,
I am so sorry, I just saw this, and I can only say I wish you strength and love for you and your family, and I know he's in a wonderful place watching over you now.

June 1, 2016

My deepest sympathies to the Alexander family at this time. Losing someone we love at such a early age, is something difficult for any family to go through. During a similar time knowing that God draws close to us when we are weak to help us, can give us strength.

To all of Scott's family and friends, it is never easy loosing a loved one. Younger people hold so much promise and bring light into your life; older people share so much wisdom and love for so many years. It is so very heart breaking, but he is safe now in Heaven, in our Lord's loving hands. I'm sorry I never knew him, it sounds like he was so very special.
