Simone Colette Larocque

Simone Colette Larocque was born December 9, 1987 in Goldsboro, North Carolina and passed away November 1, 2013 at the age of 25 years old. She graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Rutherford High School, Panama City, Florida in 2006. She attended college at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL and was in the United States Air Force. She is survived by her father Dale Larocque, mother Marie Winkler, stepfather Scott Winkler, and stepmother Tracy Laymon, sister Renee Larocque, stepbrother Justin Winkler, and grandparents D. Carol Bonnett, Terry Gosselin, Sharon Larocque, Edwina Laymon, Jane Winkler and Art (Bud) Winkler, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She enjoyed swimming, music and playing the guitar, reading and writing poetry. Simone was loved for her keen sense of humor, creative intelligence and sweet and loving spirit. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch, Florida, 34202 on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1pm. Flowers can be sent directly to the church and donations can be made in her name to Manatee Glens (networkforgood.org).
