Tom, you were my best friend for 40+ years. I love and miss you so very much! I keep picking up the phone to call you and then realize I can't. Please don't worry; I am taking care of Buddy and Ziggy as I always promised I would.

Wow, Tom was my closest friend when we attended Eureka College. He and I traveled the Midwest by "thumb" and had some great times. I recall on a cold winters night helping to push start a full size tour bus just to get a ride back to campus. Unfortunately, when we each went into the service, he in the Air Force and I in the Navy, we lost contact and for that I am very sad. I am also very sorry to hear of his passing. The Tom Persons I knew was a great guy and a good friend.
