Wilbur Dunlap Obituary

Wilbur S. Dunlap, 89, of Willoughby, Ohio and Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Cadiz and Akron, Ohio, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby. He was born November 1, 1918 in Cadiz, Ohio, a son of the late Adam and Edith Lamborn Dunlap. He was a Retail Distributor for the Archway Cookie Company in Cleveland, Ohio and a member of the Akron Masonic Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Francinia Kish Dunlap; and by a brother Richard Dunlap. Surviving are his companion Edna Barwidi of Willoughby; five sons, Allan Dunlap of Bradenton, Fla., Dwight Dunlap of Westerville, Ohio, Bruce Dunlap of Mansfield, Ohio, Clifford Dunlap of Glenford, Ohio and William Dunlap of Rye, Colo.; two daughters, Christine Dawson of Bradenton, Fla. and Peggy Herzog of Mansfield, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a brother Craig Dunlap of Lexington, Ohio. Friends may call Tuesday from Noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. Rev. R.J. Leek will officiate. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com.
