William Connor Obituary

William Michael Connor, better known as Mike "The Happy Pappy". His amazing life started on September 5th, 1954 and the great legacy that he began will continue on after he moved to heaven on August 15th, 2012. He was known for telling great stories about other people, some real and others he created in his wonderful mind. Now his best friend and wife Debbie, son Jeremy, daughter Lorrie, mother Lorraine, sister Sherry, brother Eddie, mother in-law Kathryn "Nanny" along with their respective families including his 10 grandchildren, Kayla "Marie", Josiah, Matthew, Noah, Connor, Rebekah, Silas, Abby, Chloe and Jesse along with all of his friends will be the ones gathering together to tell stories about this amazing man, "The Happy Pappy". Mike fought the good fight; he finished his race and remained faithful. He has now received his heavenly prize that God, through Christ Jesus, called him to. The celebration of life service will be held at their local church where he faithfully served as Elder and played his Hammond B3 for 20 plus years on Saturday, August 18th at 10:00 am. The address is 1401 14th Ave West, Palmetto, FL 34221. For people that would like to send flowers we would ask that they would instead send a donation to help save the unborn who can't yet help themselves. Please send gifts to: Care Net Manasota, 5111 26th Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34207. Arrangements by Griffith-Cline Funeral Home.
