Bradenton, Florida - William "Bill" Liberator passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Bradenton, FL, at age 75. Bill was hospitalized following a fall at home. Serious complications arose from the fall and shocked his family when he did not recover. William was born on November 17, 1947, in Silver Creek, NY, to Angelico and Wilma Liberator. After William returned from serving the US Navy during the Vietnam War, he raised his three children in Brocton, NY. In 1989 William moved to Bradenton, FL where he met his loving wife, Evelyn and married in February of 2000. Bill started his own company, Liberator Trucking, in the early 1990s and operated it until he retired in 2013. In addition to his surviving spouse, Evelyn Liberator; William has four surviving children; Brian Liberator of Fredonia, NY, Chad Liberator of Bradenton, FL, Lisa Liberator-Kinney of Palmetto, FL and step-daughter, Renee Denney of Science Hill, KY. Bill was a devoted husband and ever-present father/grandfather. He has eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bill had a great love for his dogs and collecting classic cars, but William will be remembered most for his steadfast devotion to his family. His wife and children surrounded Bill in the end and he will be sorely missed by all. Memorial Services will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date in May. So sad to learn of Bill’s passing. Bill was a high school classmate and was always jovial and fun to be with. A real good guy and am sure a great family man who will be sadly missed. May Bill rest in eternal peace.
