Byllye Chichester Obituary

NORTH PORT, Fla. - Byllye Bagnato Chichester of North Port passed away Aug. 22, 2025, at her home with her husband, Stephen, at her side.
Byllye was born April 14, 1949, in Bradford, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Dorothy Bagnato and sister to the late Michael Bagnato II.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Chichester of North Port; sisters-in-law, Susan Bagnato of Gibsonia, Pa., and Candace (Nicholas) Nikiforou of Annapolis, Md., as well as lifelong friends Carol Caras and Michael and Sandy Pristas; and many nieces and nephews.
Byllye lived in Sterling, Va., and had a successful career with her longtime employer Electronic Data Corps (EDS) and later, Lee Technologies, before retiring and moving to North Port.
Byllye will be remembered by her friends and family for her bright smile and contagious laughter. She was mother to many dachshunds over the years and enjoyed traveling and being with friends and family.
A private funeral has been held. Memorials can be made to Dachshund Rescue of South Florida.
