Chad Setzer Obituary

PORT ALLEGANY - Chad A. Setzer, 42, of Port Allegany, died Monday (Aug. 27, 2018) at his home in Port Allegany.
He was born June 22, 1976, in Coudersport, a son of James R. and Vera May Knott Setzer. On Sept. 29, 2005 in Smethport, he married Pamalasue Marie Hammond, who survives.
Mr. Setzer attended both Coudersport and Port Allegany high schools.
Mr. Setzer was a self-employed contractor working for Hammond Painting and as of most recent, Wright Realty.
Mr. Setzer liked camping and fishing and most anything in the outdoors, but most of all he loved doing things with his children.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, James and Vera Setzer of Austin; three sons, Zaeden Setzer, Kinley Setzer, Canyon Setzer, all at home; one daughter, Irelyn Setzer also at home; two sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Taylor of Port Allegany and Stephanie Setzer of Austin; and one niece Skybree Setzer.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Port Allegany at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Randall Headley and the Rev. Todd Lamer co-officiating.
