Daniel Chapman Obituary

KANE - Daniel Chapman, 74, of Welsh Street passed away Thursday (Nov. 13, 2025) at UPMC Hamot.
Born Dec. 16, 1950, in Kane, he was a son of the late Alden and Mary Joshnick Chapman.
Dan served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971, stationed in Germany. He worked for National Fuel until his retirement. He was a member of the Kane Elks, Kane Eagles and Mount Jewett American Legion.
He is survived by Dustin (Stephanie) Chapman and Jesse Chapman, both of Kane; a grandson, Zayne Chapman, a granddaughter, Shelley Chapman; a step-grandson Addison DeSio; two brothers, John (Patty) Chapman; a twin sister, Donna Chapman; and sister, Judy Mickle; a half sister, Kathryn Kielman; several nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife, Peggy Chapman. He is also survived by Matisse and Calder, his special granddogs with whom he spent lots of time.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert and Wayne Chapman.
It was Dan's wish not to have any services.
Memorial donations may be made to the Warren General Cancer Care Center, 105 Lee St., Warren, PA 16365; or Kane District Ramp Ministry, 112 Greeves St., Kane, PA 16735.
