David Riley Obituary

David E. Riley, 58, of 167 E. Main St., Bradford, passed away Tuesday (Dec. 18, 2012) at his residence.
Born June 26, 1954, in Bradford, he was a son of Luella Lovell Riley of Bradford and the late David H. Riley. On Oct. 25, 1991, he married Doris I. Franks Riley, who survives.
Mr. Riley attended Bradford Area High School. He was employed as a truck driver for more than 38 years, he was working at Interstate Amesite at the time of his death and had also worked for J.A. Frisina Paving.
He was a member of the Eagles Club.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by 10 children, Jerry Riley and Grady Riley, both in California, Wennoa Simpson in Texas, David Riley Jr. of Albion, N.Y., Tansy Smith, Roy Bradley and Aaron Hillyard, all of Bradford, Mark Hillyard in North Carolina, Matthew Hillyard of St. Marys and Barbara Bernecky in South Carolina; four sisters, Jessie Riley, Leona McKinney and Anne Henderson, all of Bradford, and Shirley Lovell of Sikesville; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son; and two sisters.
Family will be receiving friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., South Avenue, where funeral and committal services will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Max Miller, pastor of the Bradford Area Parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701; or the McKean County Special Olympics, P.O. Box 101, Bradford, PA 16701.
