Deborah Dodge

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Deborah K. Dodge of Port St Lucie, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2002, at St Lucie Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Sept. 22, 1953 in Kane, Pa., to Fred and Geraldine Raught Nunn.
On Dec. 13, 1974 in Kane, Pa., she married A. Brooks Dodge, who survives.
Debbie worked as a nurse at Port St. Lucie Medical Center for thirty years, retiring due to failing health. She was loved by staff and patients alike and received many awards and commendations for her caring and excellent work.
Debbie never thought of herself before others and was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend and was beloved by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, she was survived by her sister, JoEllen Eck (Tom) of Hazel Hurst, Pa.; her mother-in-law, Vernee Sanders of Port St. Lucie; her two sisters-in-law, Susan Eklum (Kyle) of Falconer, N.Y., and Lauren Mohlen of Jensen Beach, Fla.; five nephews, Matthew Eck, Scott Eck, Derick Eklum, Daniel Eklum, and Nathan Bottorf; two grandnephews, Jacks and Jase Eklum; three aunts, Adda Swanson, Carol Stroup, and Mary Walker; an uncle, Guy Raught; and many loving cousins.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation at Martin Funeral Home and Crematorium at 714 SE Port St Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m. (John@Martin-Funeral.com)
A Celebration of Life will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date which will be announced by family.
