Please accept my deepest sympathies, love and prayers that are for you all~Capt. Doug was my Pastor when he went "Home" to be with the Lord. He fought the fight never giving in or up until the Lord called him "Home." We saw him press on through his pain never missing a service. I am so honored to have met and sat under his teaching~ He loved his family (as I know you know) and he loved his Lord Jesus. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. I pray God will wrap you all in His love and comfort.
