KANE - Fannie Antonelli passed away early on Monday (Oct. 25, 2021) at the Lutheran Home at Kane.
Fannie was born Filomena Theresa Yetto on June 6, 1921 in Kane, and grew up on Cherry Street, as one of five children. Fannie worked at the Philips-Jones shirt company in Kane, and later married Dominick Antonelli in 1950, and they raised three children.
Fannie was an active member in the PTA, the Catholic Daughters of America, and various other groups within the St. Callistus Catholic Church. She became an accomplished artist, enjoying painting with acrylics and water colors, arts and crafts, sewing and coloring. Fannie always enjoyed cooking and baking, and had drawers full of recipes.
While at the Lutheran Home (since 2010), she was known for creating many of the seasonal displays within her unit.
Mrs. Antonelli's husband, Dominick passed away in 2010. She is survived by two sons, John Antonelli of Natrona Heights, James Antonelli of Massapequa, N.Y.; a daughter Nancy Antonelli of Ludlow; and a granddaughter, Cara Antonelli of Cranberry.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated and burial will follow in St. Callistus Cemetery.
The Cummings Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of services.
