Greta Edminster Obituary

ELDRED - Greta E. Edminster, 61, of North Branch Road passed away Tuesday (Feb. 13, 2024) at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center.
Born May 3, 1962, in Olean, N.Y., she was a daughter of Howard F. Sr and Greta (Ault) Yeaples. She is a 1980 graduate of Otto-Eldred Junior-Senior High School.
On June 26, 1982, in Rixford, she married Jeffrey R. Edminster, who survives.
Greta retired from Otto-Eldred High School, where she worked as a custodian for about 18 years. Her previous employment includes several years at Duke Center Superette and a short time at Temple-Inland Particleboard Plant.
Greta enjoyed sewing, crafts and riding on her husband's motorcycle. She would often make her own clothes and jewelry, and liked to draw and paint.
In addition to her husband of 41 years, she is survived by a son, Charles R. (Jennifer) Edminster II; a daughter, Elizabeth A. (James) Przybyszewski; three grandchildren, Dylan and Kayla Edminster and Lorelei Przybyszewski; a great-granddaughter, Delilah Edminster; two sisters, Judy (John) Mix and Patricia (Gary) Silsby; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Charlotte (Michael) Sikula and Ellen (Phillip) Young; a brother, Howard (Anita) Yeaples Jr.
Visitation will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, (Feb. 19, 2024) at Frame Funeral Home.

Will always remember visiting the Yeaple family over the years. Greta always was friendly and interesting to talk to. She made time for family and friends even while working at the nearby school.
