Howard Kelley Obituary
He was born April 25, 1945, in Kane, the son of the late Earl and Louise Carlson Kelley, and was married to Vicki L. Housler on Sept. 20, 1980, in Kane.
Mr. Kelley had been employed at Gaertner & Harf Meat Packing and Country Fair in Erie, and prior to those he was employed at the meat market in Mount Jewett, meat processing plant in Eldred and various other businesses. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and truly enjoyed playing cards with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; four sisters, Rita (Lou) Matter of Whittier, Calif., Polly (Robert "Goodie") Goodwin of Mumford, N.Y., Betty Lou Burns of Cullman, Ala., and June Napolitan of Warren; five brothers, Gene (Bobbie) Kelley of Riverside, Calif., Louie (Beverly) Kelley of Albuquerque, N.M., Allen (Debbie) Kelley of Indianapolis, Ind., Larry Kelley of Naselle, Wash., and Rick Kelley of Lake City; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Ross and Janet Rossborough; and three brothers, Jim, George and Roger Kelley.
Friends may gather at the United Methodist Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, and a memorial service will immediately follow. Interment will be in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Kane.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society at 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506; or the Mount Jewett Memorial Library, 7 E. Main St., Mount Jewett, PA 16740.
