As general quarters sounded, you are not at your battle station. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final launch. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.

Dear Petzold family, our sympathy goes out to your family on the loss of your father. We thought of him often and have many fond memories of his teaching days with Lee and times spent with him and Marge in our younger years when our children were growing up. We are so sorry we missed the viewing and funeral as we did not know when it was being held. Think we live in a no fly zone. God bless, David & Fay Hauber
