John R. Blackwell III, of Bradford, passed away on Monday (Oct. 25, 2021).
He was born on July 4, 1999, in Bradford, a son of John R. Jr. and Laura Blackwell.
He was a 2017 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
He enjoyed music, art, sports; especially basketball, hunting and fishing. Johnny was a people person who loved his friends and family dearly and those that knew him know that he loved to enjoy life.
He was currently employed at the Futures Rehabilitation Center for the past few years.
In addition to his father and stepmother, John (Laura) Blackwell Jr. of Bradford, he is also survived by two sisters, Cassidy Blackwell and Arianna Blackwell of Bradford; two brothers, Eli Blackwell of Bradford and Raven Kellner; paternal grandparents, John (Alma) Blackwell of Eldred; stepgrandfather, Tom Clark of Warren; aunts and uncles, Dianna, Beth, Kerri Ann & Josh, Sharon & Joel, Steve and Jim and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepgrandmother, Suellen Clark.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to Futures Rehabilitation Center, Inc., 1 Futures Way, Bradford, PA 16701.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home Inc.

I didn´t hang up or talk often either . But the one thing I do remember is that once you and him were friends or even acquaintances, he never turned his back on you. Johnny was a kind, caring, generous, and all together pure soul. May you fly high to the heavens Johnny. And may we meet again, in the end.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Johnny touched my heart and will never be forgotten, so many great memories, love you Johnny rest easy, R.I.P Johnny my heart aches so bad, I talked to him daily every single day, I'm so lost and empty without you here. My life will never be the same. Love you Johnny!!! :(
