Josephine Colosimo Obituary

Josephine Colosimo, 96, of Bradford, formerly of 169 Kennedy St., passed away on Monday (May 28, 2012) at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1916, in Bradford, a daughter of the late Pasqual and Anita Basile Caserio. On Sept. 15, 1936, she married John F. Colosimo Sr., who preceded her in death on June 9, 1996.
She was a 1934 graduate of St. Bernard School.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son, John F. (Sandra) Colosimo Jr. of Bradford; one daughter, Anita Monti of North Carolina; two brothers, Anthony (Betty) Caserio and Bernard Caserio, both of Bradford; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother; one sister; one daughter-in-law; and one son, Anthony "Pat" Colosimo.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial following immediately with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions in her memory be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home Inc.
