Louise Dudick

Louise E. Dudick, 82, of 43 Lafayette Ave., Lewis Run, passed away Saturday (Dec. 1, 2012) peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 8, 1930, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Sylvio A. and Angelina Vecellio Vecellio. She was a 1948 graduate of Bradford High School. On May 24, 1952, in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, she married Edward C. Dudick, who died on Jan. 22, 1999. They were the first couple married in the new church.
She was employed at McCourt Label Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sally Potkovick and Marcia (Pete) Lindstrom, both of Bradford; one son, Stephen (Barb Freiheit) Dudick of Bradford; three grandchildren, Peri Potkovick, Jessica Potkovick and Nicole Potkovick; two sisters, Lena Cary and Nellie Vecellio, both of Lewis Run; two brothers, Leo Vecellio of Derrick City and James Vecellio of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law Wilhelm Potkovick; and one brother Henry "Hank" Vecellio.
At the family's request there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church with the Rev. Stephen Collins, pastor, as celebrant officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
