Michael Blaisdell Obituary
Born May 29, 1991, in Bradford, he was a son of Jeffery G. and Joan M. Parrett Blaisdell.
Mike was a 2009 graduate of Bradford High School where played trumpet in the band and ran track and field. He attended the Penn State Behrend and played in the marching band. He finished his education at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
Mike was employed by the United States Postal Service in Bradford as a window clerk. He enjoyed being outdoors, and spending time with his friends at the rifle range.
Surviving are his parents, Jeff and Joan Blaisdell of Bradford; one brother, David Blaisdell of Bradford; seven aunts, Tina (Darryl) Hilmes, Carla Hervatin, Elizabeth "Renie" (Terry) Fitzgerald, Ruth (Dan) Whitman, Jan (Rod) Marcellin, Tricia Lundgren, and Tammy (Jerry) Barrett, and many grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gordon and Marjorie Parrett;
paternal grandparents, Harold "Skip" and Dawn Blaisdell; and three uncles, Thomas Parrett, Mark Hervatin and Joe Lundgren.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, followed by memorial services at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Michael was my former student, 1/2 year fourth grade, at School Street Elementary. What a delightful, gentle, gracious, and polite young man. I'm in tears to read of his passing, but know he's at peace. Rest, our Michael.
