PORT ALLEGANY - Pamela S. O'Brien, 73, of Port Allegany, died Monday (April 26, 2021) at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
She was born on Feb. 4, 1948, to the late Willis J. and Carrie E. Kline Sloan. She was raised in Emlenton, and graduated in 1966 from the Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg.
On Sept. 23, 1977, she married Peter J. O'Brien at the Emlenton United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 2017.
Upon moving to Port Allegany in 1982, she began employment at the First National Bank of Port Allegany from which she retired.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Melynda S. (Greg) Budd of Port Allegany. She is also survived by her two beloved grandsons, Nicholas and Ethan Budd, both of Port Allegany, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by two sisters, Wilma L. "Billie" Mains and Patricia A. MacBeth, and one brother, Robert E. Sloan.
There will be no visitation and private services will be held by the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Allegany Star Hose Fire Department or the Port Allegany Ambulance Association.
