Paula Camp Obituary

CLARKSVILLE, Va. - Paula Arlene Camp, 70, of Halifax passed away Friday, May 24, 2024. She was born Sept. 14, 1953, to the late Vearl Franklin Camp and Joy Nell Alderman Camp.
Paula was a graduate of Bradford Area High School. She went from there to serve with honor in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era until she retired after 20 years as a master sergeant, E7. After military service, she worked in a manpower office as a civilian for the U.S. Air Force for a while then found employment in the North Carolina State Education office, where she worked until she successfully retired for a second time.
A memorial service was held June 9, 2024, at Clarksville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Greg Randall officiating. Inurnment with military honors is now scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, in Arlington National Cemetery.
