Robert Tingley Sr.

Robert C. Tingley Sr., 79, of Bradford passed away Wednesday (Oct. 22, 2025) at his home.
He was born March 2, 1946, in Bradford, a son of the late Harold and Angeline Romano Tingley.
He was a 1964 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
Bob was a longtime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where he was a member of the choir. He was a member of the Italian American Progressive Club and an avid bowler in his younger years. Over a 38-year period he donated more than 28 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross.
He was employed at the former Corning Glass in Bradford, W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery and finally with Witco, from which he retired.
He is survived by two sons, Robert (Lisa) Tingley Jr. of Jackson, Calif., and Sean (Amy) Tingley of Bradford; one daughter, Kathy (Anthony) Aunkst of Mount Holly Springs; one sister, Theresa Tingley-Williams of Sarasota, Fla.; one brother, James (Mary) Tingley of Bradford; and 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Tingley.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to noon Saturday (Nov. 1, 2025) at St. Bernard Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow with the Rev. James Gutting as celebrant.
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
