SHINGLEHOUSE-Samuel F. Groff, 42, passed away on Friday (Oct. 22, 2021) at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.
Born on April 23, 1979 in York, he was the son of Leonard and Delores Nauman Groff.
He attended Hebron Christian School and was a 1999 graduate of Coudersport High School.
Samuel was formerly employed as a Paraprofessional Instructional Aid for the Seneca Highlands IU9 and was previously a Class A Over the Road Truck Driver.
He loved to go to flea markets, enjoyed being an Auction Entrepreneur and especially loved spending time with his church family and previously teaching Sunday School in Florida, but most of all he loved spending time and being with his children.
Surviving including his parents is one son; Jase Daniel Groff of Shinglehouse, one daughter Alyssa Marie Groff of Shinglehouse, one brother Wayne Groff of York, and many brothers and sisters from his loving church family.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Country Chapel Baptist Church on Indian Creek Road, with funeral service immediately following with Rev. Bruce Ireland officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
