She is survived by her son, Mike Dittman; granddaughters, Stefani and Kristin Dittman; and great-granddaughter, Aja Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sara Steckmeyer (McMillen).
In line with her wishes, Suzanne's body was donated for research to the University of Pittsburgh. There will be no services held. I loved Suzanne as a long time friend when we lived in Bradford. So fun to talk to all the time. Loved her precious grand daughters too! Even when we moved, Suzanne and I were chatterboxes on Facebook. Heaven looks better and better.

Having known and worked with Suzanne over 50 years ago at Pitt Bradford, I feel so sad at her loss. She was always a delight to be with, and I think of her laughter. I remember her radiant smile. She was a very special lady. I´ll remember her, and her family in my prayers. My thoughts are with them.

Suzanne and I, though both from Bradford, PA, did meet until September 1963 when we attended Rochester Business Institute. That meeting led to a friendship that lasted 63 years. Even though I had moved to North Carolina, we managed to stay in touch and always got together whenever I went to Bradford to visit family. I'm going to miss our long talks on the phone and our long chats on messenger.
Rest well my sweet friend... until we meet up again.

I can't remember exactly in which fitness class I first met Suzanne. Our paths crossed through many of them over my first years in Bradford. But no matter where I ran across her, one thing remained true. She was the brightest light in every room. Such a kind soul. Our community was lucky to have her. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Marie Troskosky: Suzanne was one of the most caring and energetic people I know. I first met her in a fitness class at the Y where she amazed us all with her agility and stamina. I often met her on the Pitt trail. Usually it was her third time going around the campus. My deepest sympathies.

Suzanne was one of the first people I met when I moved to Bradford in 1991. She introduced me to Tom, and was the only non-family member invited to our wedding. Although I never attended any of her fitness classes, she was an inspiration and we took many walks though out the time I lived in Bradford. She was special.
