KANE - Virgil A. Johnson, passed peacefully at the Lutheran Home at Kane on Sunday, (Oct. 3, 2021), where he had resided for the last few weeks.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Eastman, pastor of the Kane Revival Center.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Kane.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc., Kane.
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye when he was at the Firehall. I recall him and the guys watching baseball games. When Doc (my Grandfather) would with them. Him and Millie Kearny and Tom Hadley and others. Sorry for the loss of your loved one. God needed him in Heaven. Talking baseball and football with all firemen that went before him.
