Barbara Randolph Obituary
1931 - 2015 WAVERLY OHIO Barbara Ruth Randolph, age 83 passed away Friday Feb. 27, in Waverly, Oho surrounded by her family. Barbara was born May 3, 1931 in Tunbridge, Vt. the daughter of the late Alvah Jones Sr. and Maude Durant Jones. Barbara was a 1949 graduate from Whitingham High School in Vermont where she was the salutatorian of her class. Barbara enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing cards, spending time with her family and making her famous homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs. Barbara is survived by her son, Kenneth Eugene Randolph Jr. (Beverly); grandchildren, Carrie Daniels (Ted), Michael Randolph (Bethany), Tiffany Randolph, and Travis Randolph (Tiffany Pratt); great grandchildren, Clayton Randolph, Riley Beth Daniels, and Sammy Daniels. Barbara is also survived by two brothers, Wayne Williams (Sandra) and Alvah Jones Jr.; along with many other nieces, nephews and other family members. Barbara was fortunate enough to have had several foster families during her early life that loved her and cared so deeply for her. She loved all her foster families and visited them whenever she could. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Randolph Sr.; sisters, Joyce McCook and Lois Dudley; and a brother, Elmer Jones. Barbara was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, at the WARE FUNERAL HOME 121 West Second St. Chillicothe, Ohio 45601. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at the Springbank Cemetery located on St. Rt. 104. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Barbara's name to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association. Online condolences can be made at www.warefh.com.
