Romain M. Biron

Romain M. Biron 1935 - 2009 Walpole, NH Romain M. Biron, 73, of Route 12 , passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, N.H. Romain was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Montpelier, Vt., son of Emile and Yvette Cyr Biron. He attended schools in Montpelier and graduated from Mt. Assumption Institute in Plattsburg, N.Y., in 1954, and attended St. Michaels College in Burlington, Vt. Following school he joined the Air Force and served his country for four years. He owned and operated a landscaping company in Walpole, N.H., and worked as a truck driver. He also grew and sold Christmas Trees for many years, and owned Biron's Styling salon. He was a member of the Teamster's, the Elks and the Knights of Columbus of Bellows Falls, Vt., and the Walpole Fire Dept. Mr. Biron leaves his long time partner, Cynthia Palazzi, of Agawam, Mass., his son; Maurice Biron, and partner Nicole, of Walpole, N.H., his daughter; Renee Heard, and husband Kevin, of Sherman Oaks, Calif., his sister; Lorraine Bedard, and husband Maurice, of Nashua, N.H., his brother; Edward Biron, and wife Carlene, of Beaver Creek, Ohio, his mother-in-law, Simone Biron of Colebrook, N.H., and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Doris Biron, and his brother, Ernie Biron. FUNERAL NOTICE: there will be calling hours 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at FENTON & HENNESSEY FUNERAL HOME in Bellows Falls, VT. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, at St. Peters Church in North Walpole, N.H. The burial will take place in the spring.
