Sharon R. Elwell

Sharon R. (Vesper) Elwell, 80, of Huckle Hill Road passed away Wednesday 12/10/25 at the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. She was born in Boston, MA on February 26, 1945, the daughter of Herman and Margaret (Lehane) Vesper. Sharon attended local schools in Brattleboro and was a graduate of St. Michael's Catholic High School, Class of 1963.

Sharon enjoyed being a day care provider for many years.

She truly loved spending time with her family and friends.

Among her survivors, Sharon leaves her son, Mark Elwell of Brownington, VT; a sister, Mary Vesper of Vernon, VT; two brothers, Richard Vesper of Brattleboro, VT and Gerald Vesper of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Meredith Booe and Allison Mathis; two great grandsons, Asher and Issac; and several nieces and nephews.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday 12/19 at 10:30am at St. Michael Church, 47 Walnut Street, Brattleboro. Burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Greenfield, MA.

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 4-6pm at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.
