Barbara Gagnon Obituary
Barbara Gagnon, of Forestville, CT, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Tuesday March 5, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. Barbara was born on July 9, 1935, at St Francis Hospital. Daughter of George and Mary (Kirchgesser) Gagnon. Barbara graduated from Bristol High School, Class of 1953. She was a long-time employee of Connecticut Mutual, Retired in 1990. She was a long-life Parishioner of St Matthew Church. Barbara loved being around her friends and family. She enjoyed traveling the world with her best friends. One of her biggest joys in life was watching her UConn Men's and Women's Basketball teams compete. Barbara brought light wherever she went, and she will be deeply missed. Barbara is predeceased by her Father and Mother George and Mary Gagnon. Her cousins Bob Kirchgesser, Bernard Brzozowski, Alekos Skempris, and Carol Wilkinson. Barbara is survived by her cousins Dorothy Brzozowski, Rev John Pahl, George Pahl, Francis and Lesley Brzozowski, Scott Jane and Nathan Lilly, Anne Skempris and Javier Galarza, Jay and AnnMarie Pahl, Sherri Pahl, Michael and Allana Skempris, Matthew, Rosalinda and Johnathan Wilkinson, Joseph, Alexandra and Rowen Wilkinson, AJ and Juila Pahl, Zac and Trent Thompson, and her long-time friend Rosie Agestinucce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held directly at St. Matthew Church 120 Church Ave Forestville, CT on Saturday March 9, 2024, at 11:30am.
