Barr: I was totally shocked and saddened to learn of Brian's passing this week. I can't stop thinking about our times together - playing basketball and baseball at CBA and the hell we raised at Siena. God bless you and your family. Please know that I will be forever grateful for being your friend and Brian's and for the wonderful memories we shared over those years. Rest in peace Brian. You will never be forgotten.

Marianne and Family,
I was so sad to hear the news about Brian. I have such fond memories of the Farrell Family growing up. I loved babysitting the boys for so many years. I can still hear Brian, Marianne and my mom laughing together. So sorry for your huge loss. May you find strength in all of the memories and love. Geoff and I both send you our love.

To Marianne and the extended Farrell family; I was saddened to hear the news of Brian's sudden passing. I worked with Brian for many years at the Aetna P & C and in retirement participated in many audits for BMF Consulting.
Brian was a gifted and amazing individual with a great sense of humor. He was passionate about his work and was always available for giving advise or assisting with a problem. He was a pleasure to be around and I will truly miss his wit and amusing stories. It would be difficult to measure the impact Brian has had on the many peoples lives he touched both personally and professionally. His commitment to helping others and to serving his community in so many ways leaves a wonderful legacy. He adored his family who was his pride and joy. It was a pleasure to have known Brian and I am sorry to lose such a gifted and trusted friend
Please accept my condolences to you and your family. RIP Brian. May the good lord shine a bright star on his soul.

The Farrell family,
I was shocked to read about Brian's passing. I grew up in Albany in the same neighborhood as the Farrell clan and played with and against them in different sports. Brian was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all. I will keep him in my prayers and may Brian rest in peace.

Special condolences to Marianne and the entire Farrell Family. So shocked to see Brian had passed.
Brian was a LEGEND! The King of Insurance! The King of Aetna Property Casualty! One of the best bosses I had at Aetna.
We shared the same birthday October 26th and he would always call me or email me and wish me a Happy Birthday.
Everyone went to Brian for advice on life issues or just to talk.
I always put Brian down as a reference on my resume and he would tease me and say "I told them you were terrible and laugh." I would always get the job and tell Brian I was so terrible they hired me.
He will be missed by all!

I have never worked for a kinder, intelligent person in my career in the industry. Brian was able to teach and mentor with the greatest ease. Brian was the type of man you would want to emulate as there was no finer human being.
My heart goes out to the family. You were truly blest as was he. I am so sad. He was a good friend.

Sincere condolences to Mrs. Farrell and the entire Farrell family. Brian was a special man who was kind, generous and compassionate. He was very kind to me when my son dies 28 years ago and I was working at the Aetna. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word. He was so proud of his family and always had praise for his wife and his boys.
