Donald Misiorski Obituary

KENSINGTON

Donald H Misiorski Sr. 92, of Kensington, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Anna (Genovese) Misiorski.

Donald was born in New Britain on March 27, 1933, the son of the late John and Rosalia (Karczmarczyk) Misiorski. After graduating from New Britain High School in 1953, he enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and he remained in Reserve until 1962.

He had been employed by North and Judd Manufacturing Co. where he met the love of his life, Anna and they both settled down in Kensington for many years to raise a family. He also was employed in the manufacturing businesses of Tuttle and Bailey and Reliance Automotive until his retirement.

He is survived by his son Donald Jr. of New Britain, and his daughter Debra Dickson and her husband Raymond. He was predeceased by 9 other siblings: 3 brothers-Larry Misiorski, John Misiorski and Stanley Misiorski and 6 sisters: Anna Misiorski, Annette Paluszewski, Claire Yonan, Rose Gonzeka, Helen Klepacki and Florence Perry.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain. Arrangements are entrusted to the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St. Kensington.
