Doris Richard Obituary

SOUTHINGTON

Doris Richard, 74, of Southington, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand Richard. Doris was born on October 14, 1948, in Frenchville, Maine to the late Nazaire and Annette (Belanger) Bard. She worked as a grinder for Conn. Doris will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, she will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Left to cherish Doris's memory are her brother, Carroll Bard of Southington and sister in-law Judy Bard of Plainville, her special sister, Denise Saucier, 3 godchildren, Jason Bard of Maryland, Peter J. Saucier of Presque Isle, Maine, and Tina Bard of Plainville, niece Lisa Foster of Virginia, nephews Danny Bard of New Hartford and Dean Bard of Wolcott, her very good friend Betty Woodard, and her four-legged, furry companion, Princess. Besides her husband, Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Bard.
