Ersillia Dowjat Obituary
Born on Jan. 10, 1941, in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Elio Carboni and Mary Sandelli.
Ellie worked various jobs in the Bristol area including Caldor and Walgreens. She loved to garden and listen to and sing along to her favorite music.
She leaves behind her daughter Denise (Don) White of Bristol, her son David (Colleen) Dowjat of Waterbury, her sister Joan (Judith) Carboni of Florida, brother Bill (Alice) Carboni of Florida; six grandchildren D.J., Christa, Mandi, David, Jonathan and Randi; five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you goes out to her care giver, Jackie. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Joyce and Elaine Carboni and brother Gerald Carboni.
There are no calling hours and burial will be private in the family plot in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. The family will have a Celebration of Ellie's Life at a later date.
